How do I start?

Do I need a resume to begin?

No. Onboarding is a short conversation, and a resume is optional. Adding one later makes your prep more specific, because everything is built from your real experience.

What is free and what is paid?

Trying it is free: the preview and your trial credits. The $69 Room Pass is the paid step. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it adds 3 room compiles and 30 reps to your account.

What do I get for $69?

One Room Pass: a single $69 payment that adds 3 room compiles and 30 reps to your account. No subscription, nothing recurring, nothing to cancel.

A room compile builds a practice room for one specific moment — the interview or pitch you name, with its own questions. A rep is one question and one answer, with an honest read of where you stand when scoring is live.

What is a credit, and when is one spent?

A room credit is spent only when a room compiles successfully for you. A rep credit is spent only when a rep comes back scored — an answer with too little signal to score does not spend one.

Reviewing is always free: re-reading your rooms and reads in this session never costs anything.

If a compile or a rep fails on our side, you should never lose the credit. The system retries on its own, and if it still cannot deliver, we restore the credit.

Do credits expire?

No. Your balance is yours until you use it. It never resets on a monthly boundary and there is no deadline.

What happens when my credits run out?

Nothing is taken away. Everything you generated stays readable, and your stories and progress stay put. When you want to prep for more moments, another Room Pass adds 3 room compiles and 30 reps on top of whatever you have left.

Is my resume and story data private? Who can see it?

Only you. Every row of your data is isolated to your account, and your most sensitive inputs (resume, job postings, practice transcripts, saved memories) are additionally encrypted before they are stored.

No other user can ever see your data, no employer or school has any access, and no one on our team reads it as part of normal use.

Do you use my words to train anything?

Never. Your content is used for exactly one thing: preparing you. We never sell it, and we never use it to train anything, ours or anyone else’s.

This is enforced in the product, not just promised: our servers refuse to send your personal content to any processing path we have not verified as no-training, and that check runs on every single request.

Can my employer or school see anything?

No. There is no employer portal, no school integration, and no public profile. The only thing you can ever share is a share card you create yourself, which contains your communication style summary and zero stories or personal details, and which you can revoke at any time.

How do I delete everything?

Settings has a Delete account button. It permanently removes your stories, memories, practice sessions, recordings, generated materials, credit balance, and your sign-in identity. It also warns you first, because unused paid credits are forfeited with it.

If anything fails to delete, the deletion reports the failure instead of pretending it succeeded, so nothing is ever silently left behind.

How do I get a copy of my data?

Settings has an Export button that downloads everything we hold about you as a readable file, decrypted for you. The export covers every category that deletion removes, so what you can take with you is never less than what you can erase.

How long do you keep my data?

Short windows, enforced by a daily cleanup job: uploaded resumes and job postings are deleted 30 days after your pack is delivered, anonymous previews are deleted within 1 day, and raw voice clips within 30 days.

Your stories and saved memories stay while your account is active, because they are what your prep is built from. You can delete any of them, or everything, whenever you want.

Can I pause what it remembers about me?

Yes. Settings has a memory capture switch. While it is off, nothing new is saved to your memories, and the pause is enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the interface. Existing memories stay until you delete them.

Is spoken practice available?

Spoken practice is in private beta, and the typed mock interview is fully live: it scores structure, specificity, and impact from your real stories today. Voice will roll out to everyone once it meets our bar.

What gets recorded when I speak?

Two things, and only with your explicit permission: the short voice answers you record during onboarding are kept as audio clips, and spoken practice answers are turned into text transcripts.

Live practice audio is streamed for transcription and is not kept as audio. Transcripts are encrypted and cleared on the same schedule as your pack inputs; your scorecards stay.

How do I delete my recordings?

Settings has a delete-recordings button that removes your raw voice clips immediately. Even if you never press it, clips are deleted automatically within 30 days, and deleting your account removes them at once.

Do you analyze my mood or emotions?

Never. Voice analysis measures delivery only: pace, pauses, filler words, and steadiness against your own baseline. Emotion and mood inference are deliberately excluded from the product.

Does the coach make things up about me?

No, by design. Everything is built only from stories and experience you actually shared. When there is not enough real evidence to answer something, the product refuses and asks you for a real story instead of inventing one.

Numbers it cannot know (your exact metrics, dates, team sizes) are left as bracketed slots for you to fill in, and every generated draft is checked against your source material before you see it.

Why did it ask me for a story instead of writing an answer?

Because it had no real evidence to write from. That refusal is the feature: an invented anecdote could cost you the job. Add the real story, in your own words, and the answer gets built from that.

Will my answers sound like a template?

They should sound like you on your best day. Drafts are scored against your own writing style, and a draft that drifts off your voice is rewritten before it reaches you.

How do I buy the Pass?

It is $69, one time, paid through Square's secure checkout. After paying, sign in with the same email you paid with and your credits are already on your account.

Do you store my card?

No. Your card details are entered with Square and never touch our servers. We receive a confirmation that the payment completed, plus the email to unlock, and nothing else.

What is your refund policy?

A one-time purchase, not a subscription. Refunds are handled under our Terms. The Terms page carries the exact conditions.

If a refund is issued, the remaining credits from that Pass and the paid access it unlocked are removed automatically. And separately: you should never lose a credit to work we failed to deliver, ever.

I have an access code. Where do I use it?

Sign in, open the redeem page, and enter the code. Your account unlocks instantly.

I paid but my account is not unlocked

Make sure you signed in with the exact email you paid with; the unlock is keyed to it. If it is still locked a few minutes after payment, email hello@offerreadyapp.com and a human will fix it fast.

My pack failed or never arrived

Generation retries automatically, and a failure alerts us. Your credit is not lost: if a pack ultimately cannot be delivered, email hello@offerreadyapp.com and we restore it.

The mock interview will not start

Check your credit balance on your account page first. 30 rep credits come with each Room Pass and 1 with the free trial. If you have credits and it still will not start, email hello@offerreadyapp.com.
